Maybe I will still stick to using software, and I am still thinking of ways to make it better for everyone who uses software.
This is the reason why I have been running various line combinations with b2a a while ago
If software saves time, why don’t we take advantage of it?
I have actually done a lot of hand-crafted work, but in fact, a lot of time was wasted on tracing.
When using ansieditor1.x, I copied all the available color blocks to the panel for use.
Switching to software to do this can save a lot of time in carving out details. Why not?
In addition, the availability of software will help novices to a certain extent. I am actually quite curious about how Taiwanese masters got started.
When I first joined the BBS, I wanted to learn how to make a signature file, but I received a lot of sarcastic remarks and had to figure it out on my own.
Later, I saw the large-scale color block paintings in Taiwan and I was curious. It took me at least more than a month to really understand how to arrange these color blocks.
There are better software now, from editors to converters, and the time it takes for newbies to get started is obviously shorter than before.
Without software, many novices would be timid about ASCIIart and then become people who only shout good things to others.
If novices rely on software from now on, then everyone shouldn’t have any hope in it.
Two points for everything:
