Quote from HoshinoAya Say Goodbye
> You can also draw by looking at the thumbnail.............................
> Such a small picture......................
> How to grasp the proportion......................
Aya has been confused in the small picture. Maybe some people have the same confusion.
I'll answer it more clearly
Look carefully. The light and shadow contours in this small picture are clear enough. Naturally, there is no need to zoom in to see how to draw.
If the reference picture is not large enough and there will be unclear problems, of course you still have to zoom in to view it.
However, if beginners cannot master it proficiently, of course it is recommended to zoom in to draw, which will be much easier.
But if you always enlarge the painting, you will be too dependent on the proportion and position you see, and you will not know how to zoom in and out.
The issue of proportion is actually no different from drawing other pictures.
Moreover, I feel that I can accurately capture the outline and overall proportion of hand-drawn sketches.
It can be said that watercolors and the like look terrible after being colored :X
This is much easier to grasp than hand-drawn sketches, so of course it’s not a problem.
If you find it difficult to master, it also has a lot to do with experience and proficiency. You can definitely overcome it with more practice.
What I am most often criticized for is that I can capture the charm and proportions more accurately than others, but I can’t even finish the painting.
In fact, it’s because I don’t have enough skills. I feel like I can no longer continue painting. The bottleneck of how to complete a painting is difficult to overcome.
The teacher overestimated me :X
