In fact, what you said are all about different issues.
Strengthen character skills
What I mean is that you can use your hands more and practice more, so you can draw more different works.
It doesn’t have to be a series
The small character reare is multi-person participation, which is still different from the series.
In fact, the series itself is not guilty
The key is one's patience
Often I am very interested in this subject at the beginning
I have the urge to create, so I draw very carefully
Towards the end of the painting, my interest waned and my sense of innovation was gone.
My patience is gone, but in order to complete the series
Cutting corners will cause quality to drop.
I think this is what lstar wants to object to
The proposition of xxstar and others is probably
If there is no innovation or transcendence, don’t do it.
This is from two perspectives
One is the value to the painter himself. There is no innovation or transcendence, and there is little value to the painter himself for improvement.
The other is the value to the audience. The quality of these works is getting worse and worse. I really feel sorry for the audience.
So I think that if you want to draw a series, you need to be patient from beginning to end.
If you have this patience, you can at least be worthy of the audience.
If you have higher requirements, pursue improvement or pursue the fun of painting
Then continuous innovation can be worthy of yourself
The worst thing is that I have lost interest and now just want to finish the series.
I feel sorry for myself and the audience
Mentioned in creambottle's masterpiece:
: Everyone has different opinions on this. Come and dig up the ashes.
: I think making a series of things can enhance character skills to a certain extent.
: It is the best and necessary stage to go through when making ASCII works.
: When you reach the later stage when your skills are relatively mature, of course quality comes first, and there is no need to have a series of everything.
: After all, the feeling of making a series for the sake of series is still very uncomfortable.
: When there is interest and fun in the premise, it is quite interesting to make a series.
: For example, everyone is re-regarding the small characters, and everyone has different interpretations of the larger works, haha.
: But when it comes to the spirit and quality of the work, it’s a bit demanding and tied, isn’t it?
: Simple things are more satisfying. As long as you have new ideas to put into practice, there is no harm in doing a series.
