╔╬╮╭═╗╔╦══╦╮╔╬══╬╮╔═╦══╮
║║║ ║╔╬══╬╮╔════╮ ║ ║
★║║║ ║║║ ║║╠════╣╔═★══╯
║║║║ ║║║ ║║╚════╯╔═╦══╮
║║║║ ║╠╯ ★╣╚══★═╯ ║ ║
╚╯╝╚═╯╚════╯╚══╯═╝╚═╩══╯ by nanapin

Title: Discussion of nanapin body 4
Sending station: BBS Shuimu Tsinghua Station Sun Oct 20 15:54:46 2002, site mail
Let's finish it in one go
As mentioned before, nanapin characters are generally 6x6, which is perfect for signature files, but Chinese characters are broad and profound.
Some characters are really complex and some stroke combinations are difficult to write. At this time, it is necessary to simplify, omit, or deform.
Let’s take a very common example first. It’s not easy to deal with the cross-over of the word “meaning” (paoe and cream).
The following processing is generally used in bottle fonts:
However, slashes cannot appear in the nanapin body, and there are not as many arc connections as in the picture on the left. So if
What to do
Three transformation methods of this crossover are given here. The first two variations move the crossover to the lower one.
On one corner, arcs and corners are used to simulate the intersection, while the third one uses paoe's intersection processing.
The key part of the fork is an arc, but the other parts are still the horizontal and vertical parts of the nanapin body.
What we talked about above is transformation. Next we talk about omission.
I remember that in Zixia, several ASCII heroes, Winter Bird and Eggplant mock went through a lot of research for this simplification and omission.
Intensive discussion. The reason for their argument was the traditional Chinese version of this point.
As you can see, the four-point low on the left actually only says three. This is obviously a typo, but we still
Although we do not encourage writing typos, we are writing for everyone to see, not to teach everyone.
Recognition of characters, so as long as people can understand the characters, it will be fine. Even if there are places, corners will be cut.
In fact, there are advantages to omitting. For some words that are difficult to arrange or places that are difficult to express, it is appropriate to omit them.
It can reduce your own workload and leave room for people’s imagination to get twice the result with half the effort.
Here are a few examples I have written before
Tight. The middle one is more troublesome. I omitted the lower one but wrote the upper connection as
Let people imagine the mid-term strokes themselves
Finally, merge the last horizontal line on the top and the lower horizontal lines into one long horizontal line in the middle to save space.
Well, writing the characters with left and right structures into characters with a blocking effect is mainly to make the character "En" on the right half fuller.
Full and comfortable to watch
Deformation is even more exaggerated. Omission and deformation are a piece of cake.
There is no law of transformation. You can only feel it. As long as you think it is right and think the audience can recognize it.
Write beautiful words and you will boldly change. Here are several examples of Nanapin heroes’ transformations.
A common deformation in the middle is to turn the vertical part in the middle into a curved one, which is the word plump.
The horse below is what the traditional horse in Taiwan looks like. The additions and additions are omitted and it looks like the one above.
Take a look at the original version of Da Xia. The one on the lower right has changed again and is almost beyond recognition.
If I didn't say the last word of summer, you might not recognize it. It turns out to be in "Happy summer vacation"
Appeared, the day at the bottom has been turned sideways, but you can still recognize it when there is context.
The above example is still very deformed. I remember someone once asked nannpin to write a story about the queen of beautiful voices.
Do you know how he transformed? Here are the words he wrote
by nanapin
Haha, this is funny. But some words are really not suitable to be expressed in nanapin body, so sometimes
There is no need to do anything difficult
As for the embellishment of the stars, it all depends on what you like. You have your own reasons for how you add them.
This is the end of this series of discussions. Please criticize and correct me. In the end, my feeling is one word.
thank you all
