以前看一本动画制作的书
讲设计人物动作的时候,有一个方法判断你的造型好不好。
就是把整个造型涂黑,变成剪影,看看还能不能看出是什么?
如果看不出来,就说明这个人物造型不是很好。
为什么要这样?为什么照片可以看出来,画的就不容易看出来?
因为照片有无数的细节供你参照。卡通就不可能有那么多细节,
卡通是经过抽象的,都是线条和色块。误读的可能性就更大。
ANSI的细节跟卡通比,更要少得可怜,颜色只有16种,线条还是锯齿。
所以ANSI对易读性的苛求比照片要高得多。要极力避免混淆。
所以画暗丝,对原图要有所选择,不是什么原图都可以画。
这个原图,作为照片,是一张很有趣的照片,但他的趣味点在于情景,
并非他的构图有多好,角度有多好。
这不是功力的问题,这个角度,怎么做都不会很容易看。
画人倒不见得非得正面/侧面标准像,但也不是随便怎么摆都行。
要摆出一个有新意,又易读,又有美感的造型还是要费些脑筋的。

I once read a book about animation production
When talking about designing character movements, there is a way to judge whether your styling is good or not.
Just blacken the whole look and turn it into a silhouette and see if you can still see what it is.
If you can't see it, it means the character's shape is not very good.
Why is this so? Why can it be seen in photos but not in paintings?
Because photos have countless details for you to refer to, cartoons cannot have so many details.
Cartoons are abstract and are filled with lines and color blocks, making misinterpretation more likely.
The details of ANSI are even less compared to cartoons. There are only 16 colors and the lines are still jagged.
Therefore, ANSI’s requirements for legibility are much higher than those for photos, and confusion must be avoided as much as possible.
Therefore, when painting dark silk, you have to be selective about the original image. Not all original images can be painted.
As a photo, this original image is a very interesting photo, but its interesting point lies in the situation.
It’s not about how good his composition is or how good his angle is.
This is not a matter of skill. No matter how you do it, it will not be easy to see from this angle.
It doesn’t have to be a front-on portrait of a person, a standard profile portrait, but it doesn’t just have to be any way you want it to be.
It still takes some thinking to create a pose that is innovative, easy to read, and aesthetically pleasing.
