You are so humble that I am embarrassed to speak.
Let’s talk a little bit about your experience with coloring. Let’s discuss it together.
The colors of the line drawings are a little different from the color blocks
In addition to expressing the color of the object itself, it also has three functions:
1 Distinguish between different objects
Line drawings can easily feel messy if you don’t use color to distinguish them.
The lines of different objects will "cross" each other, making the viewer confused. So different objects
If you read "string" for a while, in addition to increasing the spacing in space, you can also use different colors to separate them.
2 implies a three-dimensional sense
It is easy to draw shadows in color block paintings and create a three-dimensional effect. It is not easy to draw shadows in line drawings.
But you can also use high light and low light to imply a three-dimensional sense, for example
It feels like the light is shining down from above
Below is the shadow of the backlight
This three-dimensional effect is more obvious
One principle is to highlight the light and dim the backlight.
3 implies far and near
The so-called near reality and far virtuality. If you want to enhance the sense of depth in the space, you can use bright colors to draw
Nearby objects, dark colors, distant objects, for example
Practical application Smiling little fish
