mentioned in flubber's masterpiece:
: When I say leading creation, I don’t mean whether software or manual work is the main method in actual application.
: It refers to whether the software can complete "creation" in the true sense.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
This point has a strong philosophical meaning, but I personally think it has little significance for actual asciiart.
: Novices use software to convert images. This process probably cannot be called 'creation' in the true sense.
Imagine a situation where one day all kinds of conversion software and editing software will be available.
Except for top experts, for most ascii workers and enthusiasts
In the creation of most of the works, I find a picture on the Internet, especially for the currently popular comic themes.
Then adjust a few scaling parameters, select a few brightness parameters, and set the line and color patch ratios.
Then press the convert button and the work is ready. It only takes less than 10 minutes of modification to become a finished product.
Is this situation considered software-led creation? Is it the development or regression of ASCII?
Do you hope to see this phenomenon? Although the possibility of this phenomenon is very low or impossible
